  We recently moved to Dahlonega and were pleasantly surprised by the number of open-minded residents. Unfortunately, the local Catholic Church seems closed-minded in comparison. There seems to be an open attitude of contempt for LGBT people and families. The music is dull and lifeless. I've only seen male lectors and I don't get the sense they go out of their way here to make women feel included. There also seems to be a rather casual attitude toward the Eucharist. Very disappointing.
